Anatolia is a land where gold has been transformed into jewellery by skilled craftsmen for centuries. Koçak Gold is a reflection of the historical heritage and cultural diversity of Anatolia. Like the story of gold, the story of Koçak Gold also started in Anatolia.

Koçak Gold began as a retail shop in 1958 in Þereflikoçhisar, Ankara.  The firm then moved its business to the Istanbul Grand Bazaar in 1987 in order to conduct wholesale selling activities as a reflection of their high aspirations. At first the company owned three little stores in Ýstanbul and later unified these outlets to become one of the initiators of the “Big Store Concept”.

Another innovation that the company developed was the use of catalogues for the first time in its sector in 1987. As a result of its export activities to the Balkans, Caucus and Europe since 1993, Koçak Gold has become a considerable contributor to the Turkish Economy.

It also set a benchmark for the quality of 22 carat bangles in Turkey. Due to support for Koçak Gold’s promotional activities, its first TV advertisement was broadcast in 1997. Represention by the firm in foreign countries’ fairs by 2000 promoted the expansion of market share.
